whipowhill

Hi!

My landlord changed the wifi password so now my printer will not connect.  How do I change the password in my Pixma MG 5520 printer please!  I feel like I've tried all the options available!

Thanks,
Sue

Hi Mike,

The password that was originally entered into the printer during setup is no longer the correct one for the network.  How do I just change the password in the printer?  The printer can find the access point/network however it won't connect due to incorrect password.

Thanks,

Sue

I had a similar issue with my Pixma MG5520 when I had to update the Wi-Fi password. It’s a bit tricky, but here’s what worked for me: I went into the printer’s settings, selected "Wireless LAN Setup," and then chose my network again. It let me enter the new password, and that seemed to do the trick. I also made sure to use a strong password for my network to keep everything secure. Once that was done, the printer connected without any further problems.
