how do I repair a stuck lens assembly on my powershot elph 100 hs?

I connected my Canon SX40 HS to upload photos to my computer but the camera is not detected. It worked the last time I used it in July but not now.  I have tried different ports but with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does Canon plan to replace the SX280 in 2014?

My Canon SX280HS which is only about a month old does NOT register true color.

I am trying to take pictures of items that are purple and it shows up on camera as blue.  Is there any way to adjust color truer. I am an artist and this is very important to me.  Thank you for your help.

Our XS 170 got dropped on the floor and popped off.  We are wondering if anyone has solved this jigsaw puzzle.

Powershot SX280 showing low battery

I bought the SX280 a couple of days ago, took a couple of test shots and about a minute of test video, hadn't used it for more than 5 minutes! I switched it on this morning and I'm getting a low battery indicator! Does anybody know why?!
