My ImageClass MF753Cdw is noting that there is a new firmware available and it is oh-so-ever ready to install it for me if I give it the OK. However, I'm not a fan of updating the firmware without first looking at the change log.
The support page for the printer (here) is two revs behind. It's showing the latest as 4.x. My printer currently has 5.x and wants to update to 6.x
Does Canon have firmware information somewhere other than the support page for the printer? Perhaps it shares this base firmware with a larger collection of ImageClass printers and is thus located someplace else?

Definitely agree.
After he's shenanigans or whomever, kinda hard to trust manufacturers removing features willy nilly. 5 to 6 is a major revision number. As is 4 to 5
ver. 05.05 -> 06.03. Three minor revisions I assume bug fixes are mostly completed. Not like there's a ton of bugs to find in a closed eco system like this

Greetings,
If you have questions about a firmware release, I'd contact Canon Support and inquire.
Having owned many Canon printers (two currently) I've never had features removed via firmware update. If you have concerns, contact support. I'm sure they would be happy to address any questions. 1-800-652-2666
