Repeated Memory Full Error when printing on MF644Cdw printer

LarsPoulsen

I belong to an organization that sends me weekly newsletters. Lately, they cannot be printed on my ImageClass644Cdw printer - it stops and locks up with a Memory Full error before any paper comes out.

I figure the PDF is too complex for the printer. Can I expand the RAM to fix this?

And how would I do that?

Hello LarsPoulsen,

Unfortunately, you would not have the option to add ram to the hardware. We would be happy to assist with the issue. To provide some feedback or some troubleshooting steps, we would need some additional information. If you could reply to this message with the information below, we can provide some assistance. For a more immediate resolution, you can contact support at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to help.

  1. What version of the Mac or Windows operating system are you using on your computer?
  2. What program are you printing from?
  3. Do you only get the error when printing that newsletter?

I think the person editing the newsletter is using a Windows 10 desktop, but I have no idea what software they are using. I think the newsletter format is based on a template from Google.

When I receive the newsletter, I open it with the free Acrobat reader on my Windows 10 desktop, and tell it to print on the Canon ImageClass printer.

This newsletter series is the only thing that gives me this problem, but I get the problem with each new weekly edition of the newsletter, and the document prints fine everywhere else. Is there a way for me to upload a sample PDF file here?
