Our printer works fine except the Magenta color doesn't get printed. I've installed a new Magenta cartridge and I removed the printhead and cleaned the back contacts. I did not remove the tanks and clean the inside or passageways. What could cause the problem? Do I need a new printhead or new printer? I did the deep clean a dozen times before and after my attempt to fix it.
Thanks for any tips. I'd rather not buy a new printer just to fix this color problem. Everything else works fine.
UPDATE to this problem:
Thanks for your responses. I was able to solve my problem by watching YouTube videos that showed me how to remove the print head and thoroughly clean it. It is printing normally now. Thanks
