The printer started with toner message stating the magenta was counterfeit. I replaced it with another Canon toner cartridge that I purchased from Amazon The Canon Store. Both cartridges have the same message. Also noticed the print quality is faded when printing from Windows applications but if I print logs or do an Auto Adjust Gradation the printer or print a test page the printer prints fine.

It looks like something is wrong with the toner cartridges that were loaded. In this situation, I would suggest contacting support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to check the toner cartridges to see what might be going on or check the hardware for any issues.
