I tried installing the standard driver for Cannon printer lpb6000 on Windows 10 Pro system which worked fine a month ago, then after reinstalling Windows it no longer works. After many failures, I tried installing the printer on my wife's Windows 10 Home using the same files and hardware that now fail on my computer. It installed without a problem. So I have some issue is with my Windows system; both computers have the latest Windows update.
On my computer, it appears to install, but then gives a "Connection error" when I try to print as if it cannot find the USB connection that it did find when the driver was installed. I've tried various USB ports with no success.
