I just bought the pink canon mini printer and the 20 zinc paper, i just checked and it still stays the status is processing is this normal?

IVY CLIQ 2 shows white line and flashing red light
I finally learned how to turn on and I got the white line took picture then I got a flashing red light which didn’t stop then I have had to charge camera again is this normal camera had a full charge before I turned it on
Selphy CP910 won't reconize new ink cartridge.
