Hi davdfabian!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly which Canon model you're using, any error messages you're seeing, and the Computer Operating System you're using (Windows XP/Vista/7/8 or Mac 10.x), as well as the way you connect to your device (USB or networked via WiFi or Ethernet).

Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue!

Thanks and have a great day!

My printer is a Canon Pixma MS 600, I connected directly to the printer port on my CU which I running Windows 7.
The printer work when you send a document from the computer.
With the LCD screen with no image ,I can not copy etc. from the printer control panel

Hello avdfabian,

Thanks for your reply with the updated information!

To ensure the most accurate information is provided, please double-check the model number on the printer itself.  We do not make a PIXMA MS600; however, we do have a PIXMA MP600.  Could this be the printer you have, or is it something else?  We look forward to hearing back from you!

I guess I should put on my glasses.

It's a MP600
Thanks

Hi davdfabian,

With the LCD screen not displaying properly, there is one step we can try:

  1. Turn off the printer and wait for it to completely shut down.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the device.
  3. Press the ON or power button several times (at least 5 times is recommended).
  4. Wait for 20 minutes.
  5. Power on the printer.

If the screen still will not display properly, then the printer will need to be serviced. Contact Us for your service options.  We are happy to help you out.
