When will the EOS R5 Mark II come out?

Any word on when the new EOS R5 Mark II will come out? My DSLR EOS 5D Mark III is about to die.Hoping the new mirrorless comes available soon

No one knows.

In my experience the answer is; about five minutes after you click the buy button on something else.

The reality is that Canon staff might know, but they can't tell. Also the internet might have some wild guesses and with enough guesses some might be close to accurate. Last year it was all over the internet that it was coming in the fall and it didn't, that's the only fact so far.

There was speculation about an announcement at end of February, but that melted away so I think we're looking at an April / May time frame for an announcement now. 

Kind of depends..  I don't know if the R52 will be here for the Summer Olympics. 

I think the R1 is still slated for a fall release.  

We are also waiting on 3 more power zooms but these are still unconfirmed.

All are rumors.  The 5D series was great.  If you want to hang on and wait it out... you'll get the R52.

If not, you can walk right into a R62 or R5 mkI.  I wouldn't feel bad about going to either platform from where you are now.
