Rebel T6i - video sound not transferring when uploaded

I recorded some video of my uncles wedding on my Rebel T6i. When it watch it back on my camera I can hear the sound fine, however when I transferred to my computer and USB stick their is no sound. Am I missing something simple? I just transferred by putting the memory card in to my computer.

Which video player are you using on the computer?  Some of them default to muting the audio until you click to unmute and increase the playback level.  Try playing another video file on that computer (download and save something from the web) and open it with the same video player to see whether you have sound setting issues with your PC.
