I was noticing on a recent sports event that my R6 paired with my EF 24-105 f/4 (vello adapter) showed significant chromatic abberation (I think) -- see attached image. The R6 settings for abberration are ON. I've not seen this before. Anyone experience this ?

Does the camera know it has an EF lens? Is the Vello adapter masking the lens type?

R6 reads the lens model correctly in the menu settings

What were your settings for taking this shot, esp. shutter speed?
Have you repeated this by shooting other objects that are not moving?

1/1600 s f/4, ISO 160, Focal length 60mm
I've seen on a few other pics but I shot ~ 7000 that day and most are ok.
The image I attached is a screen shot. I'll attach a jpeg

If it was simple diffraction, I would expect to see the halo effect around the person, or at least on the brightest areas, but I am intrigued that is found only on the cyclist's trailing edge...

It seems t be limited to the very “white” (maybe blown out) regions of your subject. Could be a result of your software?
CA is generally all around.
Can you post a link to file out of camera? Preferably RAW.

The posted image is only 998 x 691 in size. This could explain part of the issue. Did you capture the original as RAW and apply any lens correction?

This image looks pretty good at actual size. Are you using any lens filters?
