I got the camera at christmas, so it is fairly new. I have tried two different lenses to see if focus or a lense was the issues but, all of a sudden it won't take a photo if the LCD screen is on. It sounds like the shutter goes but a photo isn't taken. If I turn the screen off and look through the view finder it takes a photo just fine. Any thoughts? It's still under warrenty, so I may just bring it in to where I got it. But that's annoying!

Awesome. That's great advice! I am using mine primarily for video but, those are some great tips! I just want to make sure it's not broken, so I'm going to do some more investigating. I'll definitly start using the view finder more for photography though!

Sounds like you have the camera in video mode instead of 'LiveView'.
