How do i check shutter count on 5d mk3. Someone said it was available on the utilities disc, but i can't find it.

I did. My issue is someone on a public help forum hoarding information. It's a help forum. If you have information, you should post it.

That was his "help".  You may not like the answer but that was it.  Wait for a different answer if there is one.  Perhaps it will be more to your liking. Everyone has different levels of "help".

 

I would have instructed you to send it to Canon and request a shutter count.  It is the only true verifiable accurate one.

This forum doesn't want anyone posting info of that sort. I was chastised once for it, so...

Do a search yourself on Yahoo for any EOS shutter count info and you'll find it.
