Shutter counter for EOS 6D Mark II

Hi I would like to check my shutter counter on Canon 6D Mk II. Ive run into a comment which says that this model does not save shutter count to exif. I have also seen a legit program but it’s 10$ so obviously there is no point in buying It. Do you have any suggestions on how to do It free?

There are no reliable options that are free.  There are almost no pay options that are reliable.
