I currently have a canon Rebel t3 with a new SD 256gb. When I went to put the chip in to my MacBook using an adapter ( to look at my photos) it’s unable to read the chip & now I can’t access my photos. Also when I put the chip back into the camera it says “card can’t be accessed”
what should I do ?

That's a full sized SD Card. The card capacity is too large for your camera. That's why your camera keeps giving you an error message. So you'll need to stick with a smaller capacity card.

No. Do NOT use Micro SD Cards in an adapter. These will cause problems. Your camera was designed for Full sized SD Cards. Not adapted Micro SD Cards.

Yes that card will work. Make sure the product description says full size. Not Micro SD Card.

Is that the same as “full HD”?

No Full HD relates to 1080p video.

Is that the same thing when it says “full HD”?

A Full Size SD Card and Full HD (1080p) are 2 completely different things.
