EOS R5 Mark II- Bluetooth transfer WIFI not working

I recently bought the R5 MK ii, and like time canon owner. I am disappointed how flaky the canon app is and how difficult it is to setup to work.  The issues I see today with canon connect are the same issues I had with my 5dmk4 many years ago.  Someone at canon should be working on a resolution to its loyal customers or, provide updated instructions to resolve.  The users manual works great IF there are no issues.

In a nutshell, my camera connects via Bluetooth but will not connect to WIFI and stays in the infamous trying to connect loop.  Time to return my camera and buy Nikon or fix this application issues.  Enough is enough!!!!

That’s highly unusual because the 5D4 lacks Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.  Do not expect the onboard Wi-Fi to function as fast as a laptop. It doesn’t.

Have to plead ignorance here but can you transfer with a USB cable? I find WiFi or a card reader to be a nuisance.

Info: Canon T7 and Lenova laptop with W11.
