EOS R5 - Customize Quick Control

I just received my new R5 and working on getting it set up. I have upgraded FW to v2.2.0 and looking to customize the "Q" menu. Per posts on the internet this option should be on page 7 of the Shooting (red) menu but it is not on that menu of my camera. I have searched all of the menus and have not found how to customize the Quick Control menu screen.

FYI it is on page 8 of the Shooting menu on the R7... it is the third option down "Customize Quick Controls".

To see full menu options your mode must be set to  Av, Tv, M and not the A+ Full Intelligent Auto mode.

Set it to M and try it again.

I'm going to follow this post in case there are additional responses because as far as I know, the Q button on the R5 mark i is not customizable. I have both the R5 mark i and R5 mark ii, and of the two, only the R5 mark ii has a customizable Q button. And, like your R7, on the R5 mark ii, the setting is located on the red menu, tab #7. The R5 mark i was released about 2 years before the R7 so maybe that's why it's not on the original R5?

Wandalynn is correct. The Q screen on the R5 classic is not customizable. The posts you read are wrong.

Sorry I didn't chime in sooner, this thread got past me.
