EOS M6 Mark II AEB Bracketing issue

Problem:  On bracketing as per this page in the manual:

 My AEB setting window looks like this with only two indicated exposure selections instead of three.  

 On taking this shot I only get two images rather than the three indicated in the manual regardless of drive mode (single, continuous or delayed).  I've spent too much time trying to sort this out.  Anyone know about this issue?  Thanks.

Do you have the self timer activated and set to 2 shots?

I am very sorry.  My bumbly fingers indicated that this was a solution.  It was not in my case.  The issue persists regardless of shooting mode,  Only two exposures rather than three result in any mode.  Can the solution statement be retracted?

Is your shooting configuration settings such that you cannot go two stops underexposed? Like a max aperture limit or a minimum shutter speed limitation?.

So...  My discoveries so far:  

In single shot drive mode, AEB Bracketing can be set to the number of bracketed exposures shown below and initiated by individual  depressions of the shutter release. 

To initiate multiple exposures with one depression of the shutter release, one must be set to any other drive mode including H or H+ which are not delayed or any of the delayed exposures (2, 10, C)  

My initial problem was likely that somehow I had it set for 2 exposures in this menu.

All of this may be present on other threads (which I have read ) and in the manual but I guess I didn't understand.

Now I wonder if there is a shorter way of canceling the bracketing rather than backtracking as indicated on the manual shot shown in my initial question.

Actually if you turn the power switch off, then it cancels auto bracketing. Unless you have changed C.Fn I-3 from the default setting, which your screenshot indicates you haven't.

I'm going to dig through the custom settings on my camera when I get home tonight so I can see this.  The default is indeed 3 unless specified otherwise.
