Hi
I bought my canon EOS 5D mark iv second hand.
When I go into the data on my images it still states the owner is the previous person who I bought it from.
My name comes up as the photographer using it.
Please can someone help me to change the owners name.
Many thanks
Kim

Congratulations on the camera.
Is this your first Canon DSLR? They allow you to enter your name and copyright information. The process is tedious. It’s best explained in the User Guide, which is available on the camera’s product support page. See link below. Try a search for the word “copyright”.

Thanks. I forgot about that. It’s much easier than using the camera.
[EDIT]
A full reset of camera settings is highly recommended, too. You want the camera settings to be in a known state.

It's in the manual, which you should download.

You can change Author's name and Copyright in the camera.
To change Owner name you will need EOS Utility or Gphoto2.
