I have a Canon r6 Mark ii camera and a Canon Selphy CP1500 printer. I want to print images directly from my camera to the printer using a USB cable.
1. Is this possible?
2. What cable should I use?
3. How do I initiate the print job from the camera?
I can’t rely on have Wi-fi access and want to try tethering as an alternative to transferring memory card from camera to the printer.
Thanks in advance!

Printing from the camera requires pictbridge, which your camera does not have.
You should be able to print from the card, though.

I think kvbarkley is correct. I haven't set it up on my R6 II, but there is a section in the advanced user guide (page 630) on "Digital Print Order Format (DPOF)" but, to me, it reads like you have to do it from the card. So, there is no print function shown, just DPOF, which I assume is a file to instruct printing 🤔 I will add that you can not include Raw or HEIF files.

Thanks!
I figured out the raw image part when I put the card in and it didn't recognize the images.
