Hello marklori43,

The factory service centers use a tiered pricing structure for repairs based on the type of repair that is needed on the equipment. The tiers for that camera are as follows:

Minor = $199

Standard = $429

Major = $669

Unfortunately, I do not know what tier this particular issue would fall under. I hope this is helpful.
