6D mark II tethering with cable

Hi everyone,

 

A quick question. is it possible to shoot in tethering mode from the Canon 6D mark II with a cable ( not connecting wireless ) ?

Yes you can shoot tethered to a computer using Canon EOS Utility.

How do you exactly do it? with the canon 6D mark II, when I connect the cable and start the EOS Utility doesnt work.

What computer and operation system are you using?

 

Do you have EOS Utility installed?

 

Does EOS Utility start automatically when you connect?

 

If not, you can manually start it. 

 

Once you see this screen, just click on remote Shooting.

managed to put it working. I had the EOS utility 2 ( and not the 3 )

Be sure WiFi is turned off. On most (all?) WiFi- equipped cameras, WiFi will prevent a cable connection.
