I have a Canon EOS Rebel film camera. Would my EOS lenses work on a new DSLR camera?

My Canon 7D and EFS 18-135mm lens is sharp close up but not at distance.

Using a lens designed for crop bodies on full frame, SAMPLES.

17mm ts-e shifting issues

It's easy enough to shift this lens left and right and merge the images to create a panorama.  But, often the center and shifted images are vastly different in exposure, sometimes by a huge difference.  What's this about?
