i have an error message that say B200 printer errorhas occured unplug the printer cord and contact the service center. is there any way to fix it with out calling the service center?

Photo doesn't scan
I am trying to scan a 8 1/2 X 11 photo on my Canon TR8520, but it only scans a 5x6 area. The entire picture will scan if I select document, but I need it saved as a Jpeg. Hoe do I get the whole photo as a jpeg?
