printer error messages

 Can anyone help me resolve an error 6500 on a Cannon MP 830?

I have a Canon PIXMA iP 1500 Photo Printer, FCLS 94342. The waste ink absorber is almost full.

How do I solve the problem? Or must I continue to press the RESUME button every time I want to print?

My Pixma printer will not print black.  I have performed numerous deep head cleanings, and there is lots of ink availible.  Still no black ink printing.  Is there a physical cleaning that is possible?

Canon MX700 error message U052, then 5200
