I just downloaded update for MP610 printer on my Mac OS 10.5.8

After downloading update, printer will not work.  It seems to be locked in the "hold" position and an exclamation point appears on the "hold" icon. Any suggestions?

mp830 printer problems

I hav a Canon Printer MP830. For some reason it will not scan or copy. It will print OK. I recently got a 5010 message, and the memory in use light is blinking. Any suggestions. Glenda
