Hi,My MG5500 has been working well for a couple of months. Now, when I try to scan on the platen I get the above mesage.I am not sure how to set the compter to do this as I didn't have to do it initially.Any assistance would be appreciated.

Canon Pixma 922 - when I copy a document the pages come out blank.

When I copy a document the pages came out blank. Also, when I print an MS-Word document, the pages come out blank, however, if I print an HTML document from a website, the printer prints fine.

I want to make a recipe file on line using Microsoft Word and would like to scan some recipes i already have. Can this be done on the pixma  MG7120? I have scanned a couple but not to Word and am unable to make any changes to the recipes.
