How to deinstall and then reinstall MG5550 wireless printer on laptop.

I have had issues with printing on MG5550 wirless printer. First documents were stuck whilst spooling and now I am getting the message 'no printers installed. Should I deinstall and then reinstall the printer files on my laptop.

MX 882 prints irregular, empty horizontal lines for its black characters

I'm running an MX 882 with Word 2010 on Windows 7.  It has worked perfectly for 4 years.  Suddenly it's printing illegible pages of empty horizontal stripes across all of the black characters.  Colors are coming out fine.  Any ideas?
