Cannon TS3522 - Ink Error Message

changed the black ink 3 days ago.  Turned my printer on today to scan and it reads new ink required.I unplugged - waited 10 minutes and now error message is not going away. what do I do since cartilage is brand new???

Error Code 204 - MX492

Printer keeps flashing Error Code 204.  Manual says turn off, unplug and replug and turn on  If error persist please contact tech service.  Please help.
