No, the PIXMA MX452 will not run on Windows 98. The printer is compatible with the following operating systems:
Windows® 8, Windows RT, Windows 7, Windows 7 SP1, Windows Vista SP1, Vista SP2, Windows XP SP3 32-bit,
Mac OSX 10.6.8 - 10.9.x
