TR8622 displaying support code 6800 after power outage

My TR8622 was working and printing fine yesterday. This morning we had a minor power outage and I tried to print this evening and as soon as I turned it on it displayed Support code 6800. I followed the instructions to turn it off, and then unplug it, then turn it back on and it continues to display this code the instruction message. It's not even a year old.  Any suggestions?  If I have to service it, how do I find a service center in my area?  Thank you.

One other thing to try - unplug from outlet and cycle the power button a few times. It sometimes works by draining stored charge.

If that doesn't work (printer damaged by power surge) it may not be cost effective to repair it.

Common Causes of Error Code 6831

  • Clogged Printhead: Ink residue can block the printhead, preventing proper ink flow.

Steps to Resolve Error Code 6831

  2. Clean the Printhead:

  3. Check Cartridge Installation:

    • Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly.
    • Remove and reinsert the cartridges, making sure they click into place.
