PIXMA TS6350 Scanning to Desktop Computer

Roker
Apprentice

I have just set up my new Canon TS 6350.

Everyone seems obsessed with operating via their smart phone, I have my printer connected by USB and cannot see a way of scanning to my desktop computer and filing.

Should there be a utilities panel for the printer

Re my TS 6350a. Win 10

I'm new to this site, how do I reply to my previous post?

When I downloaded the driver the instruction did not inform me there was other software for scanning and saving, same with printing photos. These where not on the disk provided,  I had to download from Canon website. (They do not make it easy .

What else do I need to download?

Hi Mike,

By the time you bring your device home, the drivers disk included with it is probably old or outdated.  There is no telling how long it sat in a warehouse or on a store's shelf.

This is the support site for your printer:

PIXMA TS6350a - Canon UK

All drivers and software for your device can be downloaded from that link.  The drivers will allow the device to function with the OS you are using it with.  Software provides addition function or creative options.
