PIXMA TS6120 Copies come out blank, can't scan to laptop anymore

The printer will not copy, the page comes out blank.  

When trying to SCAN, it no longer recognizes the laptop as an option. It only shows USB.

Windows 11 OS

The router and Canon unit have been unplugged and turned on again.

New Canon print drivers have been installed via Best Buy.

I'm totally lost on what to do. Any suggestions?

Hi KMY, 

When the results of printing are not as expected, please follow the steps provided on this page from the manual:

TS6100 series > Maintenance > If Printing Is Faint or Uneven > Maintenance Procedure

In regards to scanning, first, let's reinstall the drivers. Please turn your PIXMA TS6120 off and then follow these steps:

1. On your computer, please press the Windows key on your keyboard and the letter I, then let both go.

2. Click on "Bluetooth & devices" on the left side.

3. On the right side, click on "Printers & scanners".

4. Click on the Canon TS6100 series. In the new window, click "Remove" at the top.

5. Repeat until all TS6100's have been removed from the Printers list.

6. Close the Printers window once complete.

Next, we will download the latest driver:

1. Please click this link: https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-ts6120#DOWNLOADS

2. Click on Software & Drivers.

3. Choose "Windows" from the Operating System drop down and then "Windows 11" from the Version drop down.

4. Click the Download button to the right of "Print Driver and Scan Utility Installer Ver.1.02 (Windows)". Note: you may have to click the "Load More" button to locate this.

5. Once that file finishes, please open or run that file to begin the installation on your computer. If you have to search for the file first, the files name is: "mpnp-win-ts6100-1_02-ea34_2.exe"

6. Follow the on screen prompts to reinstall. Please do not turn your printer back on until the installation prompts you to.

Once reinstalled, please attempt to scan:

1.  Click on the Windows button at the bottom of your screen and click on Apps or All Apps.

2.  In the menu that appears, click on the Canon Utilities folder.

3.  Click on the IJ Scan Utility to open that application.

4.  Click the Photo or Document button to perform a scan.

Hi Patrick,

I've done the suggestions you provided. Thank you very much but I still have a problem.

It is the actual Canon unit which will not copy documents when placed on the glass. Pages come out blank.

And when trying to scan on the actual Canon unit, the options for scanning are only USB. It used to give me the option of scanning to the laptop by recognizing the laptop name.

I can scan from the laptop to the Canon unit without a problem BUT would like to have the other options as well.

Can you help? TIA.......kmy

Hi KMY,

Please load plain paper into your PIXMA TS6120 and then follow these steps:

1.  Please tap the gear icon at the bottom of the display of your PIXMA TS6120.  Patrick_0-1753813480390.jpeg

2.  Tap Maintenance.

3.  Tap Print nozzle check pattern.

4.  Tap Yes.

A test page will print.

Please take a picture of that page and then please attach that image to your reply of this post.

Hi Patrick, attached is photo you requested. I know I'm low on Cyan and Small Black cartridges which should be arriving today. But I don't think that's the problem.

Please LMK your thoughts. Thanks again for your response.
