PIXMA TR8620a won't print (connection issues)

Purchased a PIXMA TR8620A printer a couple of years ago and it worked fine.  We moved last summer and ever since then I have the hardest time trying to print.  I get the error of the laptop and printer aren't connected to the same server (but both are connected to the same wifi). I've done the configuration print and got code C-0 but that doesn't help me. I've made the sure the printer is up to date on whatever updates get pushed.  I tried looking at driver updates but that didn't seem to work either.  I can't find any kind of customer service phone # to call so right now I have a big black paper weight on my desk that serves zero purpose because it won't work anymore.  Would love some help, please!
