PIXMA TS6420a Horizontal lines on images.

Rubyney

I have had this issue since I got this printer and used it one time!! Everytime I print an image, it has horizontal lines across the images!!! Its getting very very annoying, thought this would be a good printer but I just want to throw it against the wall. I HAVE cleaned it, will post picture of the Nozzle cleaning and will post pics of the lines on one dark and light image. I have WASTED an entire thing of ink cleaning repeatedly to try to get rid of these lines but NOTHING is working!! I would NOT suggest for anyone to ever buy this printer!!!

Hi Rubyney,

Lines in images can be caused by an incorrect paper setting on your PIXMA TS6420a.

What is the size and type of paper that you are using?

Are you printing from the cassette (in the front) or the rear paper tray?

With the Home screen displayed on your printer, please press the OK button.

Use the down arrow to select Feed settings and press OK.

Using the arrows, select the source of your paper, either rear tray or cassette and press OK.

Does the paper currently selected match the paper that is loaded in that location?

If not, select Change and press OK.

Select your paper type and size.

Once set, please attempt to print again.

Please note, only plain paper can be loaded in the cassette.  All other paper type must be loaded in the rear tray.

After setting that, please attempt to print from your computer.
