Hi all,
My TR4722 no longer prints properly over a network connection. It will recognize the print job, however, it would make a terrible noise and scrunch up the paper when outputting the document! This has been going on for some time now, so any and all advice welcome.

This is not a network problem. Most likely you have an obstruction, a piece of paper somewhere in the print head carriage. It can be very small and still cause a paper jam.
Error code 5100 on the PIXMA TR4722 typically indicates a problem with the printer's print head or ink cartridges. Check for any obstructions, ensure the cartridges are properly installed, and try resetting the printer.

I tried something very unusual to correct the problem (cleaned the ribbon and the rollers with rubbing alcohol and a napkin). For some reason, although the error is gone, however, when I print in color on plain paper it bends a corner of the page! Eh, what should I do?
