PIXMA TR4520 Scans Come Out Blank

I am trying to scan using a Canon PIXMA TR4520 but all I am getting is a blank page.

Are you using the top feed scanner or scanner bed?

You probably already know and I'm just making sure - If using top feed scanner, printed side goes face up.
