PIXMA MG7520 Not Printing Well or Accurately

Pixma2023
Apprentice

Hi,

My Canon multifunction Pixma MG7520 is not printing well or accurately. I changed the ink cartridges a couple weeks a go, and the first document I tried to print- printed with dark bold lines through out the entire page like it was being redacted. I ran the “clean” function on the printer and it is still not printing well, please see images below.

Any advice or troubleshooting would be appriciated. Thank you.IMG_20230112_0001.jpgIMG_20230112_0002.jpgIMG_20230112_0003.jpg

Hi Pixma2023,

The poor printing issue that you are experiencing could be caused by a smudge or debris on the encoder.  Please follow the steps in the link below to clean the encoder inside your PIXMA MG7520:

https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART163676

Once cleaned, please attempt to print.  If the poor print quality persists, your PIXMA MG7520 would require service.

If your PIXMA MG7520 was purchased less than a year ago, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat to obtain your in warranty options. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below:
