PIXMA MG2522 Trouble installing on Windows 10 PC

I am so frustrated with this printer I am very close to returning it to the store and asking for a refund. I've nearly all the suggested fixes and nothing works.

Th support pages don't and I'm fed up!!!!!!!!

I've been tryiing for nearly two weeks to install the printer on my PC with windows 10.  NO LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have Windows 10, no error message other than the computer doesn't "see" the computer.  Using a USB hardwire connection.  I've deleted the drivers several times an reinstalled them, sourced drivers from several locstions, you name it I've done it!
