Error Msg: serial number you have entered is incorrect, or does not belong to an applicable product
Trying to install software but getting this error message incorrectly. The serial number is correct. I work in IT and this is a true bug.

What is the exact model printer you're using (it's usually on the top or front of the unit)?
Which Computer Operating System are you using (Windows 7/8/10/11 or macOS 10/11/12)?
How do you connect to your printer (USB or WiFi)?

Most Canon PIXMA driver installs do not ask for the printers serial number. Are you downloading the MG2522/MG2525 MP Drivers Ver.1.02 directly from the usa.canon.com website?
