PIXMA G7020 printing red when set to grayscale

Pixma  G7020 set to grayscale printing but printing in red???

I'm using Windows 11. Everything on the printer is set to B&W. I printed out a recipe for my wife and came out red. I'm printing out Tax Documents & also coming out red.

Lets try this: open the start menu click settings, choose printers and scanners. Choose your printer, then print test page. This  prints using the basic Window's driver bypassing the Canon settings. There should be no red, text  is black with a blue icon and title.

Problem solved. Was able to get Tech Support. Did Ink Flush and cleared problem. Thank you all for your help

Glad you got it solved.  Thanks for letting us know.  I will file that one away for future reference, especially since it doesn't seem to be logical to me, but apparently is.
