What steps have you taken to address the issue?

I double checked settings to make sure grayscale printing saved. I cleaned the heads. Also "chat" with support, they requested I send picture of nozzle cleaning which I did but no response.

You sent them the nozzle test page? How did it look to you?

It looked OK.

So, what specifically, do you mean "set to grayscale"? Changing it using the IJ Print Assistant Tool? Choosing grayscale on ?Windows? Mac? app? Using Photo Print Professional? Easy Photo Print Editor? Easy Layout Editor? And/or have you tried from multiple apps with the same result? If the test page is ok, then sounds like a driver issue rather than a printer issue per-se. You'd need to star by ensuring you've gotten and installed all of the latest drivers from Canon for the printer at https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-g7020 as well as your OS and/or app that you're using. I'm guessing you already heard and did all of that via Canon support.
Sorry, but I'm not familiar with that specific printer nor that specific problem. I've seen some other color issues on the site that were fixed with driver updates and/or reboots.

The "grayscale" setting is when I right click on the Printer. So, it's the Canon that shows the output is either in color or B&W. I also went to the Canon site and downloaded all the drivers, firmware update, etc. but still printing in red. Very frustrating.

I'm sure that it is! And I don't mean to frustrate you more but I'm still working on understanding all of your problem and really need more pieces of information to understand what might be happening. Please be patient - I know it's hard when you feel you've talked to people and they aren't helpful and you've probably spent a long time troubleshooting on your own. I think we've all been there. Sadly, I'm not Canon support and don't know your printer inside and out. I'm just someone like you trying to help. Someone else who IS a guru may show up to help us out, but I know we will need all of the information to do the best job of troubleshooting.
It sounds like from "right click on the Printer" you're running Windows 10 perhaps. Windows as Macintosh isn't a "right click" environment. Is it Windows 10 or 11? I'm guessing 10 as 11 typically doesn't have the icon of the device anymore. Do you know how to find out when it was last updated and what the update was? What application are you printing from? What type of file are you printing that is coming out red? Have you tried more than one application and multiple files and types of files with the same result?

The most important question for me to ask is what operating system are you using? The Pixma G7020 is a super tank printer and any tank printer can be a bit complicated more so than standard cartridge printers. The OS can be the source for many of these problems.

I'm using Windows 11. Everything on the printer is set to B&W. I printed out a recipe for my wife and came out red. I'm printing out Tax Documents & also coming out red.
