I have a continuing problems getting my Pixma G4210printer to print. When I try to print a document on my Macbook Pro, I get this on my dashboard:
When I check the printer, I get:
My printer is hardwired to my computer, and I have double-checked all the connections and restarted the printer several times, but I get the same notification each time. It refuses to print my work. This was a periodic problem, but now it seems to be permanent. Please help. I have to get my work out.

Hi artjon108,
Please click on the Apple in the upper left corner and then System Preferences. In that window, click on Printers & Scanners.
How many Canon printers are listed on the left side?
Do any of the printers on the left have a green dot and "Idle" ?
