MX922 here. Will fax connect to a fiber optic phone line or will it have to be a analog

Have a fiber optic phone line. Fax say's it cann't detect a dial tone. Do I need a analog connection?

A standard phone line will be needed in order to use the fax machine.

Is standard the same as analog? Digital phone service (not wireless) won't work?

An analog line would be the same as a standard phone line.  A digital phone line is not compatible.
