Please help! Intermittently my printer will put light blue vertical lines over the color image portions of documents. Any suggestions?

Hi Sunnyandhermom,
In order to better assist you, allow me to ask a couple questions:
- What program are you printing from?
- Do you get the same effect when printing from a different program?
- Do you get the same effect when making a photocopy?
- Which version of Windows or Macintosh are you using?
I look forward to your reply.

Never tried another program

Using newest Windowes
Fixed the problem by adjusting settings from standard printing to the highest level.

Similar here. I am suffering striping in cyan with my Pixma MG6220 and the problem is not evident in "High Quality" setting, but is unsolvable in "Standard Quality" - will put up with it, and the increased ink consuption - till it's time to retire the poor beastie.
