MG5300 C000 error

You people have put me through HELL this past week!

Because one of the ink cartridges on my Canon Pixma MG5300 is empty, NOTHING will work anymore!

Even the scanner won't work. I need the scanner to work because bureaucracy.

The error code is C000

Nothing I try works!

How do I get rid of this evil error?

Please tell me how I can get this thing to work again, or I will tell everyone I know never to buy a Canon product.

Please someone answer, how can I hard reset Canon Pixam MG5300 so that at least the scanner will work.

I NEED this thing to work for my taxes!!!
