My Canon PIXMA MX 860 ran out of 2 ink cartridges, so I ordered replacements on line and when I replaced the 2 that the printer said to an error code showed C000. I shut the printer off and when Im turned it back on the same error code C000 appeared. I can not get rid of this code rendering my printer useless. I even removed the new ink cartridges and replaced them with the empty ones and error code still showed.

Hi ruplaski,
Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MX860 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.
Hope this helps!
