Just purchase a PIXMA TR4720 and ink cartridge error

I purchased this Canon one hour ago and I'm trying to set it up and I have an Acer Nitro V15 - 41 And I have cord link to the printer and I can't seem to get this printer to work or should I get past the message where it keeps telling me to enter an ink cartridge which I already put brand new different cartridges in and I keep getting the same **bleep** message and yes I took the middle orange And that's not my only gripe with Canon when I try to hook it up wirelessly to my Wi-fi router it's telling me that this printer don't have the hardware to connect to a 5G network. (WTFGO) So for kicks and whistles Aside from that I was looking up on if anybody else had with these in these ink cartridges and I just got bored and I just wanted to pop one open to see what it looked like inside and boy when I tell you it's a **bleep**ing scam that you would not believe. It looked like if had a little bit of and splashed it in there and that was it 75% oh that sponge inside that ink was white not black with ink. So I did a little research and come to find out that you can get the that goes in those cartridges for about $9 and that's 250ml Per bottle, And the Ink cartridges say they have 5.6ml for $26 each. Call me crazy but you do the math and you start to smarten up real quick. But that still don't take away from the fact that I cannot get my **bleep** **bleep**ing printer to recognize any of the ink cartridges that I bought from Staples all 6 of that's unbelievable I'm so mad I can't even see straight now if anybody has any kind of insight of that I can bypass or what not feel free to drop it Appreciate it thank you and stay vigilant!

it is a pretty well known fact that all new printers, regardless of who makes them or what model all have "comes in the box" with "starter" ink cartridges or bottles. They are about half full. No one likes it, or agrees with it, but there it is. I see you found refill bottles for the cartridges. I do not recommend you get into trying that. You could violate the warranty on your printer and the printer may not sense the cartridges are full, so your running out of ink warning will still appear and at some point your printer will shut down.  However at this point, you need to get your printer up and running and hopefully we fellow Canon printer owners can help you do that. 

Is the cable you referred to a USB/Printer cable? The middle orange, is that the protection tape on the cartridges? As to connecting to WIFI, you should be able to enable your router to send out both 5g and 2.4g at the same time. It has been a long time since a router did not do that.

So, first, if you hate a brand new product why would you go buy new parts for it instead of just taking it back and/or calling the manufacturer?  You shouldn't blame the manufacturer if you haven't given their support line a call and instead turn to Google to solve your issue.  If you want to fix the problem on your own, then you cannot lay the blame on others.  If you wish us to support you here as a community we certainly will, but we will almost certainly recommend that you register your product with Canon and use their support channel.

Also, you bought a printer that is not compatible with a 5G network.  Instead of purchasing an unsatisfactory product and then researching it, you would need to more carefully research a suitable product prior to purchase.

And any search will reveal that EVERY printer manufacturer basically gives away their printers so that they can make money on your future ink purchases.  And more and more manufacturers are VERY particular that you ensure that you purchase either a) new OEM ink, or b) refilled and properly reset OEM cartridges.
