Hi Everyone,

I'm Harmandeep Singh Kandhari, Health and Wellness Motivator. Now, I want to know about what troubleshooting steps are recommended for resolving frequent paper jams and faded prints on a Canon PIXMA TR4720? Could this be related to driver updates, ink cartridge alignment, or roller maintenance?

  • Incorrect Paper Loading: Ensure paper is loaded correctly in the tray.
  • Paper Type: Use suitable paper sizes; avoid A5 for documents with photos or graphics.
  • Obstructions: Check for any foreign objects in the paper path.

Steps to Resolve Paper Jams

  1. Check for Visible Jams: Open the paper output tray and check for jammed paper.
  2. Remove Jammed Paper:
    • Pull out the jammed paper slowly to avoid tearing.
    • If not visible, check the feed slot and rear cover.
  3. Restart the Printer: If the paper is stuck, turn off the printer, then turn it back on to see if it ejects automatically.

  • Blank or Faint Prints: This may indicate low ink levels or clogged print heads.
