Greetings,

You already have everything you need. Microsoft word > select envelopes and labels from the mailing menu.

You can enter your return address and recipients address.  It even does barcodes for scanning.

Thanks for joining the conversation, Avidhameater!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or macOS, and which version thereof) and which application you're trying to print from.  We also need to know which specific printer model within the PIXMA MG3600 series you're using.  The model number should be on the front of the printer at the lower right. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

Hello, Danny,

Thanks for your speedy response. I am using Windows 11. The printer number is MG3650. And I am attempting to type on an envelope, using MS Word 365. I installed the printer software from a CD and am running it via Wi-Fi.

Previously, the process of typing an address on an envelope was very straightforward. A blank envelope appeared in a dialog box, I set up the envelope, and I typed in the sender and addressee addresses, and clicked Print. Now, it is a very convoluted process that I am unable to work my way through. I cannot find an actual envelope that I can type onto. I am sure there is a fairly basic solution to this. I hope I have provided sufficient additional information for you to help me find it.

Kind regards,

David.
